Spot The error

Spot the error and rewrite the correct sentences.

In that type of question there have two sentence which has grammatical mistake/mistakes. In place of helping verb,main verb or subject can error in that sentence. 

Ex - The slaves was forced to work for their masters. 

Ans - The slaves were forced to work for their masters. 

1)My grandparents laid down for an afternoon nap. 

2)A stranger were knocking at our door

3) The young seagull were alone on his ledge.

4) I could not believed it.

5) My teacher have no answer. 

6) He drink coffee.

7) My children is playing and dancing.

8) The Nobel committee has invite me to present a “lecture.”

9)They sparks imagination and encourage us.

10)Life are something like a trumpet.
